Education First – A Curious Journey
3D Animation & CGI
Working in close partnership with EF Global Creative, the brand team at EF Education First, a World Leader in International Education, Quite Franckly created a curious launch video that would inspire all those young at heart and eager to learn. An original score created by Alexander Ivarsson Quintett naturally captured the light, delightful, near accidental happenstance of our story. We created a visual narrative that illustrates our curious, brave journey into the unknown when we decide to learn something new. Creative Storytelling Simple geometric shapes became the building blocks for our idea. We used the shapes from the brand toolkit to create the worlds that our character journey’s through. Although initially we had a few big ideas for the direction we fell in love with the child like honesty of the simplistic builds. We wanted the worlds to feel as if they were created and built by children.

Creative Storytelling
Simple geometric shapes became the building blocks for our idea. We used the shapes from the brand toolkit to create the worlds that our character journeys through. Although initially we had a few big ideas for the direction we fell in love with the child like honesty of the simplistic builds. We wanted the worlds to feel as if they were created and built by children. This way we crafted our idea naturally through our own internal journey of playful discovery. The creative process was super fun, exciting and transformative for the team as well as our animated character.

Character Development
Our hero is the cutest, roundest, friendliest ball of curiosity and starts out in a flat two dimensional world. As the Hero’s journey unfolds we see the character’s development and true identity. We figured the next level in ones development from 2d would be 3d. The character becomes far more confident and animated through the journey. Alongside are a few process sketches we introduced to client for a proposed style in 2d.
